- What is covered by the warranty?
- SONPURA guarantees the repair or replacement of the product during the warranty period only in case of manufacturing defect, provided that the product has been used properly.
- The repair or replacement of the product will not alter the validity of the warranty period.
- What is excluded from the warranty?
- In accordance with the Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of 16 November, which approves the revised text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws (LGDCU), this warranty shall not apply in the following cases:
- • Deterioration caused by improper use of the product.
- • Deterioration resulting from a failure to comply with the product maintenance recommendations provided by SONPURA in this warranty document.
- • Deterioration resulting from the transport of the product at the buyer's expense.
- • Wear and tear caused by normal use of the product: the appearance of body impressions or marks on new mattresses is normal and indicates that the layers of padding are adapting to the user's body.
- • Stains, mould or moisture on the product.
- • Tearing of fabrics and/or handles of the product.
- • A difference of +/- 20 mm in the width and/or length of the product with respect to the advertised measurements, in accordance with the margin permitted by the European standard UNE-EN 1334, on tolerances in the measurements of bedding products.
- • Initial odour of the materials used in the manufacture of mattresses: new mattresses may smell for the first few days. This odour is not harmful to health and disappears within a short time after proper ventilation.
- • Threads: some thread may appear as a result of the process of making and sewing the mattress. These threads do not interfere with the normal use of the mattress.
- • Noises: the mechanical components of the bases may produce a slight noise when opened. These noises are normal and do not interfere with its use.
- • Comfort preferences.
- • The height of the product: 2cm tolerance approximately.
- • Damage resulting from the use of an unsuitable base.
- • Damage produced by causes beyond SONPURA's control, such as accidents, spillage of liquids, burns, atmospheric agents, improper storage, user negligence, etc.
- • Bed space marks equal to or less than a depth of 3 cm. The materials used for the filling of the mattress padding are sensitive to change and may vary in length, width and/or height during transport and use.
- • Products that are in unhygienic conditions that prevent proper inspection without exposing the SONPURA technician to fluids or pathogens potentially hazardous to their health.
- • Products that have been handled by personnel outside SONPURA's technical service or its associated distributors.
- Valid under the following conditions

- 3-year warranty
- The original purchase includes at least one product consisting of a SONPURA mattress, base, headboard or pillow.
- The buyer must present the original purchase invoice.
- Only the original buyer can make use of the warranty document.
- This warranty is only valid in the country in which the purchase was made
- The product conserves the original label intact
- Both types of warranty are effective from the date of purchase of the product as indicated on the original invoice or sales receipt.
- This warranty does not affect the right of the purchaser as a consumer or user to request, free of charge, the corrective measures established in the Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of 16 November, which approves the revised text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws (LGDCU), in the event of a non conformity. This free of charge warranty shall include the necessary costs incurred in bringing the products into conformity, in particular the costs of shipping, transport, labour or materials.
- 3-year warranty
- What procedure, if any, should I follow to apply this warranty?
- The buyer will have a period of 24/48 hours from the date of delivery of the product to file a claim regarding any visible defects such as stains, scuffs, tears and zips. Once this period has elapsed, it shall be understood that the purchased product has been received in conformity.
- To file a claim, you must contact tcontact the area manager or directly with Sonpura via email at sonpura@sonpura.es.
- SONPURA's technical service will contact the establishment to inspect the product and assess the existence or not of manufacturing defects and, subsequently, SONPURA's quality department will determine whether it is covered by this warranty.
- If this warranty applies, SONPURA will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective product within a reasonable period of time and free of charge. SONPURA reserves the right to replace or substitute the product with a similar product of equivalent or higher value, without guaranteeing that the product is identical to the original.
- What are the service costs?
- During the warranty period, the cost of technical service is free of charge, provided that the terms of this warranty are met.
- In the case of claims not covered by this warranty or made outside the warranty period, the technical service will be charged at a cost of €35 (VAT included). The costs of repair or replacement and transport of the product will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
- Recommendations for taking care of your Sonpura product
- We know how important it is for you to rest well, so keeping the mattress and base in good condition is essential to preserve the integrity of the materials and ensure a restorative and revitalising rest that only Sonpura can offer.
- When unpacking the mattress, leave it for a few hours in a ventilated place. We recommend that you regularly ventilate the room to maintain a healthy environment, prevent dampness and avoid traces of mould on the mattress.
- Cushion the padding and extends the durability of your mattress. Single-sided mattress: turn it 180° from head to toe and from foot to head, once a month for the first two months. Subsequently, turn it every 6 months. Double-sided mattress: in addition to turning the mattress, you should also flip it over as often as you turn the single-sided mattress.
- Protection and cleanliness are essential. Prolong the life of your mattress with a good mattress cover. Do not dry clean, use a vacuum cleaner or a steam cleaner. For stubborn stains, use spot cleaning with stain remover.
- A good base. It is essential that the mattress is placed on a firm base, new or in good condition and mounted according to the number of legs required by the manufacturer. The base must be completely dry and cover the entire surface of the mattress.
In the interest of adequate and satisfactory rest, the following is recommended:
- Replace products before 10 years
- Turn (for single and double-sided mattresses) and flip (for double-sided mattresses) the mattress every 6 months
